| The Recording Institute of Detroit serves the music and recording industry of Michigan, Ohio, Northern Indiana and NE Illinois. This area is described by many as the fourth largest US music region. Home of the famous Motown Sound in the 1960's, its now home to about 1000 recording and audio servicing companies and unparalleled, world-renowned, musical talent. |

| The music & recording professionals in our service area often take advantage of the competent graduates of RID for providing the extra help that is often needed during peak times in the industry and to fill positions that regularly open up in the field. Hiring or having a RID graduate intern often means more clients and clients which are happier with the service that they receive. Some graduates already have clients that they regularly service! |

| We are presently compiling and updating a directory of studios and audio service companies in our service area. We plan an online directory with special web linkup for those of you who have used RID graduates.
